Terms of Service

The plain-language version.

A short summary of the terms that apply to every Veskyra product. It's here to help you understand them; the full Terms of Service, linked below, are the binding version.

Your content is yours

You and your organization own what you put into a Veskyra product. We use it only to provide the service you asked for. We never sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. You can export your records, and deletion follows the timelines in our privacy summary.

You're responsible for your account

Keep your sign-in secure, keep your details current, and tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You must be 18 or older to create your own account. Organizations manage their own users and permissions and are responsible for activity under their accounts.

Reliable service, honest limits

We work hard to keep every product available and accurate, but software has bugs and outages happen. The products are provided as they are, apart from the commitments in our written terms. Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months (or $100, if that is more), except where the law doesn't allow a limit.

Not a safety or emergency system

Our products help with records, training, and operations. They don't replace professional judgment, dispatch, emergency alerts, or your own safety procedures, and your organization stays responsible for its premises and activities. Keep a backup plan for when software isn't available.

Billing is straightforward

Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time; access continues through the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds for early cancellation, but we fix billing errors and refund prepaid fees if we discontinue a paid service or fail to cure a serious breach. We give at least 30 days' notice before a price increase.

Use each product for its purpose

Don't use our products to break the law, infringe others' rights, or interfere with the service. You can't send promotional campaigns through our platforms. Kyrvec may never be used for firearm sales, and our standard service doesn't accept health information that requires a HIPAA business associate agreement.

AI is optional, and you review it

AI features run only when you choose them. Check the results before relying on them, because AI can make mistakes. We don't use your content or AI results to train AI models.

Disputes: arbitration, with an opt-out

Most disputes are resolved by individual arbitration rather than in court or as a class action, and small-claims court stays available. You can opt out within 30 days of accepting the terms by emailing legal@veskyra.com. Opting out doesn't change your service or pricing.

Changes come with notice

We give at least 30 days' notice before material changes to our terms take effect, and changes don't apply retroactively. Organizations and training providers may have additional terms for their own services, such as course purchases from a KorLea provider.
